About Englewood Idol

Englewood Idol is a singing and dancing compeition open to any high school student who currently lives in, worships in, works in, or goes to school in Englewood, NJ. This competition is a fun opportunity for students who think they have a talent to actually prove it to themselves. Englewood Idol has always been held at the Bergen PAC Theater, BergenPAC is an elegant venue on North Van Brunt Street in Englewood.
Executive Producer Judy Aronson and Assistant Executive Producers Jadyn Lewis and Sreeja Satish work with Englewood Idol performers and student organizers to give them the opportunity to preform on the professional stage of BergenPac alongside professional techition. BergenPac also offers the winners of Englewood Idol the opportunity to audition as an opening attack for many of the stars who grace the stage of BergenPac year-round.
Englewood Idol is a fundraiser for the Dr. John Grieco Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that raises money to award scholarships to students at Dwight Morrow High School and the Academies at Englewood. 
 To date, the Dr. John Grieco Scholarship Fund has awarded more than 
 $300,000 to nearly 300 Englewood Public School students.
